Super Sad Squad is a Fort Smith based creative community featuring artists, writers, musicians and more.
Started in 2015 by illustrator Nathan Young, Super Sad Squad has evolved from a comic book idea about mopey teenagers into a collective effort where folks around the country band together to help each other achieve their creative goals and turn ideas into finished projects.

Super Sad Squad’s first project was an ongoing comic series by Nathan Young called Blank Verse; a story about overcoming adversity, coping with tragedy and doing one’s best to keep their head above water. It has seen follow-up projects ranging from children’s books, crafts, video production and more from various members of the community.
