As Chapter Two comes to a close we get to see Sam at her most vulnerable as she confides in the only real father figure she's ever had, and despite everything that's happened over the past two days she still gets her shot at happiness - bruises and all.

Alex asks for Jesse to keep a secret for her while Sam and Logan watch from across the room. After an impromptu comedy routine the gang watches as Billie Becker, a local celebrity, takes the stage. Not long into the show Sam bolts away from the table. It seems that her attempts to cover up the damage from her dad's violent outburst couldn't hide everything.

The gang get dressed up to head out to attend the open mic night, with Sam laying it on a bit thicker than usual. Shortly after arriving Alex abruptly disappears. Could that troubling letter she found in the mail have something to do with this?
