An important update about Super Sad Squad in 2023.
The Blank Verse gang hits the red carpet.
I can’t believe that at one point I wanted this man to be an antagonist in Blank Verse. He’s way too cute for that.
I don’t think Sam driving a motorcycle is that much of a stretch based on how much of a badass she naturally is.
When Sam was 14 I imagine that she dressed like a boy, or maybe even full-on pretended to be a boy because she didn’t like the little comments and awkward glances from people.
I like to imagine that the folks who lifeguard in Blank Verse hang out at a surf shop where they share experiences, exchange stories and weigh in on the goings on within each other’s lives.
Looks like I’m back on another weeks-long Baywatch binge.
As an asexual person I have wanted to share some of my perspective and experience within the baloney comics I make. I am going to do that with Logan and Alex by sprinkling bits and pieces of mine and my wife’s mannerisms into their relationship.
Pride Month comes once a year, and since I missed it because I was feeling especially depressed, I fully intend to celebrate all year long.
It’s been a rough year so far. Blank Verse is at a standstill and I’m being a whiny little bitch. Here’s a cute picture of an 8 year old Alex to numb the pain.
Listening is great. You should try it.
Have you ever had so much on your plate and were so behind on your current projects that you thought "Hmm...maybe I should add SOMETHING ELSE TO STRESS ABOUT!"
You didn’t ask for them, but you’re getting them anyway. Blank Verse is now available in print.
Take a look at the cover of Blank Verse Chapter Two featuring everyone’s favorite foul-mouthed friend.
How come a project made by a 30-something year old guy with a smoking hot wife has so much gay shit in it?
Blank Verse Chapter Two is completed - with a release set by the end of October!
A short video showing what the printing process looks like at Super Sad Squad HQ.
“If you’re sooooo asexual, why does every character you draw have a nice ass?” - You, maybe.
We just blew $400 on equipment to print, cut and bind our own comics from home. Time to waste some paper!
